Not a sign of snow down here in London, but it's cold enough.

heavyish dusting of snow here last night, out the door at 6 this morning for work but not many problems as the council in fairness had done a good job overnight gritting and clearing most of the roads. Airport closed for a time this morning which is a pisser as we'll have to play catch up, could be a long day, not whats required at the tail end of a 6 day week but such is life. :bigsmurf:

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Just got the train back from London and watched the landscape change frrom brown to white the further North we got. It was bloody freezing in London but its even colder here. I do like the snow but hate the ice. I live at the top of a hill and my road is one long ice sheet, the thought of getting in the car and driving fills me with dread ..... i really would like to hibernate till spring.

There's been a couple of centimetres here in North Staffs - looks like it's about to start freezing over. Even with the heating on, it's been blimmin' cold today.

Just a light dusting here in North West Leics. Been well gritted in our area, although some of the minor roads were a bit tricky. Haven't fallen on my arse - yet! I usually manage to do it at least once
Not at work Monday morning due to hospital appointment. Got an urgent job to do in the afternoon, but may take Tuesday off if it's no warmer - minus 6° at the moment

Had lots of snow in Derbyshire early Sat morning...we were doing a performance at lunchtime today, drove over through Chatsworth estate. Beautiful blue skies, sunshine and snow twinkling like diamonds. Lots of kids on sledges.
BUT the temperature was -8!

It was my youngest's second birthday yesterday and the snow was the best present of all. Towed her all round Spider Park on the sledge. Not so much as to strand us at home either. Result.
