I once found mud on my plate in a restaurant. I tasted it too - thought it was French mustard :shock:

There was a little blob of brown stuff on the kitchen work surface, I thought it was chocolate spread so I wiped it up with my finger and put it to my mouth to taste it, to this day I have no idea why, why would you even do that? Turned out it was a spillage from a cat food pouch....
