I was equally uninspired at the first announcement last year, but that's only because they generally announce a lot of indie bollocks/pop idol shite first

Folk Forest is only bit of that list that stirs any interest. It's a shame almost that it happens as part of Tramlines, could quite easily have spent the whole weekend down there last year if there wasn't so many other things going off!

Band at the Library too. Playing solo Saturday and Sunday as well (Cathedral and Soyo).

We're booked for the Upton Free Blues Festival on Saturday - but Friday is all coming together.

Post Pocklington Sandy Dog can no longer get about like she used to - she's OK about the house - but that's it - the down side being we can stay after the gig and let all you nice Sheffield folks buy us drinks.

Actually if we're going down Worcester the next day I can't have too many - maybe I should call in sick and stick around for the Cathedral recital 8)

Update: jeeeeez you can tell something's going down - everywhere booked up at prices double what I normally pay - still always liked the look of the Psalter - someone tell me if it's a bit rubbish

don't know about the actual hotel, but the location's nice, and you're only a short walk DOWN to the park for the Folk Forest. Bit of a climb back UP though.

looks like I'm running back and forth from the library to the frog on Friday; more incentives; See Emily Play backed by Sheffield Chamber Orchestra.

Dave - Any idea what time you're on? CHB is ace; ducked down a few times last year to escape the heat; this time I think I'll be dodging the rain...
