Sad to hear that its landlord Brian Johnson's last night at the Bath Hotel on Victoria street tonight,.
It's being leased to Thornbridge brewery, from Tomorrow.
I've played at the Bath loads of the years with Both M&J Blues & The River Rats, met some great people in there and will really miss Brian., thats another publican selling up along with Pat & Eddie from the Gardeners Rest on Neepsend Lane.
here's hoping the new owners don't turn them into some swanky wine bars.
More info on the Star website.

Lovely looking place - I hope Thornbridge dont paint any new acquisition with a template brush stroke - that Bath Hotel looks a gem a needs to be kept that way.

Lick of paint and new beer selection and that's it seems to be their plan. Nipping in to the opening on Thursday so will report back...

Nice one, yeah i don't think there's much to change anyway.
Spoke to Brian yesterday and he said that they were going to keep bands on for the next few months and then reviewing it.

Not looking much different, think main work has been sorting out the cellar and taps. Opens proper today.
