so they are charging 15 notes for the weekend - a snip for the brilliant weekend.

Surely RH has GOT to play this year.

I've got a baby now so require RH to play at the folk forest pretty early and not too loud so I can go and watch

deal?

Guess that's not happening now.

Be interesting to see how it works out this year.

It will be very interesting to see how many tickets theyve shfted - I'd hate the main areas not to be busy. I cant believe the fuss people are making about a 3 day festival costing £15! have you seen how much music is on? Its literally cheap as chips - other cities are charging £30 a day for half that much fun (Dot to Dot for example)

I'll be out with the family seeing as much as I can, cant let this festival done - its brilliant.

Starting with the HOsts at the Greystones on Friday - pow

:Oink:

I'd be surprised if the main stage area is as rammed this year, though i think they've got the price right to not put too many people off. Still plenty that's absolutely free. I think 95% of the what i've watched in the previous 4 years are on stages that are still free this year.

That's interesting, says it's for the 'core' venues where you have to pay, yet half of those on the list aren't on the list they published weeks ago of venues where you'll have to have a wristband. :?

you need a wristband for Weston Park & the folk Forest?

This is the list of what they previously said you needed to pay for:

Quote:
What do I need to pay for?
You will need to pay to access the main stages and music venues (the ones who usually charge a fee to enter). You will need a wristband to access the following venues:

Devonshire Green (14+ unless accompanied by an adult)
Stage 2 (at the O2 Academy) (14+ unless accompanied by an adult until 9pm)
O2 Academy (14+ unless accompanied by an adult until 9pm)
Corporation (14+ only until 10pm)
City Hall (14+ unless accompanied by an adult until 9pm)
DQ (18+ only)
DLS (18+ only)
The Fez Club (18+ only)
Hope Works (18+ only)
Millennium Gallery (Saturday & Sunday from 6pm)
Penelopes (18+ only)
Plug (14+ until 11pm)
The Harley (wristbanded from 5pm, 18+ only)
The Leadmill (14+ unless accompanied by an adult until 11pm)
Queens Social club (14+ unless accompanied by an adult until 11pm)
Yellow Arch (14+ unless accompanied by an adult until 7pm)

Can't see how they could enforce wristbands for Weston Park or the Folk Forest, i'm guessing it's just a balls up on the website.

i think they meant "main venues" rather than core as in wristband venues...if you catch my drift

Post subject:  Re: tramlines 2013

It says on the first page it's for "venues you need to buy a wristband for".
