Cheers mate, it's not good news I'm afraid - Tizzy has broken her leg and dislocated her wrist joint. She's off to a specialist orthopaedic vet in Lichfield tomorrow for an op. Also thanks to Richard for his best wishes! Latest estimate is around £1200 to fix her and you know what? She's worth every single penny althogh that's next years holiday up the fucking swanney!. Here's to TEAM TIZZY. If I knew how to upload a photo I would - the bandage looks bigger than her!

Cheers YouandI for your support!

COME ON TEAM TIZZY!!
But the little monkey won't keep still - earlier, I said to my partner 'keep an eye on her while go for a pee' - next thing the little bugger got upstairs [at speed] while bandaged up to within an inch of her life!

Oh, what a pity to hear that! Luckily, she seems to be in high spirits! How has the operation turned out?

Tizzy will bounce back quicker than you know

My dog snapped her cruiciate ligament in her knee (like gazza), fishing for seaweed in te sea in Cornwall (don't ask)
Anyway 3k later she's got a metal hinge in her knee and is still charging around like a pup (a little slower maybe)

Resilient beasts!

It went really well thanks Colombo. She's got 3 screws in her leg now and the vitnery said that the op was a total success.
The problem is keeping her in a calm state as she thinks that all's fixed now and she can charge about like a mad thing
I wish I knew how to upload a phote as i've got an absolute belter of her looking rather sorry for herself just prior to the op! She looks a bit like Frank, the council dog as per Pete McKee.

She already has!! Thanks for your kind wishes and support.
Perhaps we could arrange a meet up so that your dog and Tizzy could compare their operation scars!

Thanks D.[ Denise?]
I haven't got a single clue what you are talking about!!
What's a URL?
What's an Img box?
Paste?
I'll get someone who is computer savvy to do just what you say - your help is really appreciated, thanks.

Hiya,
I haven't got a clue how to do that either!
Hang on - there's a visitor in the house who seems to be about 30ish - she might know what to do!
Yours,
Hopeless with Computers,
Woodseats.

We've had three dogs stay overnight at our house recently, the most recent was one our Laurence found trotting down the dual carriageway, a miniature schnauzer, gorgeous dog. Happily re-united with its owner the day after, one of her kids had left the gate open and he'd escaped.
My son seems to have a knack for finding waifs and strays and then he brings them here, we all fall in love and I'm relieved beyond measure when the dog in question has an owner. Three kids, a dog a cat and a goldfish is enough. Our latest episode was when I woke up and found an injured crow hopping round the dining room. He'd found it in the park and decided to bring it home.........
