Surely "weird dog man in the park" would be a step up so what are you worried about???

Yeah, and he's Monkey Boy, aka Chimp Features, formerly known as Gibbon Puss, so he should know...x

Can I ask a sensible question... Is it a no kill shelter or has this little fella got a clock ticking? My hubby's still saying no and I'm still trying. But Richard please please take him, three dogs are nearly two (same rules as kids, once you get to a large enough number you can't tell anymore how many you have as its chaos and you are too knackered)...

And you could be weird dogging man in the park, which would be worse.

You need to find someone whose kids are leaving home to go to university. It's happened to a few of my friends, empty nesters who can't face listening to their old man noisily chewing his food for the next twenty years. So they get a dog. You still have to pick up shit after them but at least they don't answer back... x

Well done to all involved - the original couple that found the dog, Richard, the guys at the dog pound and the new adopting family!
I have always taken my dogs from either a dog pound or from families known to me that couldn't cope - they have all been a total pleasure.
On a slightly sad note, my partner was walking our little dog Tizzy in Graves Park last nigh tat around 7PM when she [the dog, not my partner - before you start!] fell at great speed chasing her beloved tennis ball - sadly, she looks like she has broken her leg or dislocated her wrist joint - we were at the Vets this morning but they can't Xray her until tomorrow. Fingers crossed for her - she doesn't care too much [Tizzy that is] as she is doped up to the eyeballs with morphine at the moment!!
