Sad news spreads fast these days. And very sad news about the passing of Jane Kitson on the afternoon of Sunday January 12th 2014. Stalwart of the Sheffield music scene and BBC Radio Sheffield, she did a huge amount for local music and local bands. Can remember her on the radio right back to the late 80s. Jane was an awesome person and a dear friend I met her when I was a teenager loved her to bits as did so many people,despite her long battle for life it's still come a huge shock that she's gone my heart goes out to her Mum and Dad and her huge circle of friends bless you Jane we loved you so much |
