I am on holiday in a little house on the edge of the sea near Plymouth. This stove is heating our living room. It was taken from the captain's cabin of a warship, HMS Agincourt, built in 1865 and, as you can see, made in Sheffield. It is all in good working order and a beautiful thing, don't you think so? Anyone know anything about the firm that made it? I am totally charmed by it and it toasts great crumpets. Xx

It is beautiful and so well made. It apparently took four people to lift it in to position. Beautiful ceramic tiles all round it too. Gorgeous object in a gorgeous place. X
