Wouldn't you if you were having to fit the words to a Coldplay tune? (Mind you I do like Yellow, probably the only thing I bought of theirs).

Right everyone! What would you recommend Hendos with? Recipes please. And don't just say on your chips!

There's a bottle of Lea and Perrins in Forge Dam Cafe.

Behind the Hendo's and unopened, natch. But still....

I'll sneak another one in under cover of darkness - this time I'll open it...

As you know, I don't indulge in pork pies or other meaty nonsense so have not par taken in this stuff. But we ran out of balsamic vinegar in our house today (and you can forget any fucking anti- southern, pseudo middle class jokes, it's fucking vinegar). Anyway, my neighbour grew asparagus on his allotment that I usually cook it with a sprinkle of said vinegar. Someone gave me a bottle of Hawley Hendos, which I have tried to give away to those forumers who worship the man through foodstuffs because the Face of Jesus on a piece of toast thing has never been my bag. Anyhow, I cracked the bottle open and used it to cook said vegetable and it has been a roaring success with small ginger people in my house. Just thought I'd say... Seems it's so quiet... X

Henderspn's is always out of stock at Abbeydale Tesco (because they sell over 5 cases a day apparently...). It was in stock and only 86p in Handsworth ASDA though.....

:)

Price check from December 2006. 2.5x dearer in seven years.

I put Hendos in scrambled eggs - gives them a nice zing!
