In case anyone hasn't yet come across it, Sheffield now has its own brand of ice-cream to rival Ben & Jerrys and all the other imports. They have produced a christmas pudding version which is pretty yummy.

Apparently Waynes in Broomhill is the no.1 seller of Our Cow Molly ice-cream and they will have some of the christmas pud. variety in stock on Saturday. :D

it is absolutely brilliant icecream. Wayne has said there is going to be a few christmas specials like christmas pudding etc.... the icecream is made in Dungworth near Bradfield and is better than Ben and Jerrys any day!

Sounds wonderful. I'm going to have quite the shopping and visiting list when I get back over the ocean (the ocean...)

If anyone needs ice cream recommendations in the USA, I've done the research. (Ben & Jerry's is way too sweet, but they were cool once upon a time, and the names are still a riot.

Bleurgh! Think you might have a point there, Jan! Hendo's crisps may be one thing, but not Hendo's ice cream... Though, I bet there's at least someone on here who'd like it! :*:

You can now see a video of the Christmas pud ice cream being made (but sadly no sign of Molly)

went to buy my icecream for christmas this afternoon and met the man who makes the icecream - it's apparently named after his baby daughter rather than a cow!!! :rendeer:

Welcome to the forum Eddie. Can't wait to be back up in Sheffield to sample the ice cream.
