I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

i'm off to waterstones shortly to buy a novel called "Hangover Square" - it is about a barroom philosopher and his unrequited love, set in dark, gloomy, smoke-filled pubs.

It sounds right up my street.

Hamilton is one of me fave writers - you'll enjoy the book pal .Don't end up like the lead character though(I won't give the story away!) :?

('Gorse trilogy' is great , as is 'Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky' etc Gaslight the movie is on BBC4 on Saturday - part of the knob-rubbing , back scratching Stephen Fry night [national treasure - me arse], but never mind) :study:

You don't want to push Luke off the edge - he might have murder on his mind after reading the book (thought I'd warn you!)
