I've just spent about 2 hours creating a playlist of my favourite tracks from Lady's Bridge, Coles Corner, Lowedges and Late Night Final and marvelling at how amazing the tracks are. Feeling quite emotional after listening to it actually. Richard, your music is fantastic.

I know this probably isn't news to anyone, but I thought i'd share it. Now all I have to do is get an FM transmitter so I can listen to it in my car!

I'm only listening to Mr H's music when i'm in the car now, it keeps me calm. I got through Coles Corner the other morning whilst trying to go south through the Tyne Tunnel. That place boils my piss.

I started my playlist with the faster ones then it gradually gets darker. I went for:
I'm looking for someone to find me
Serious
Just like the rain
Tonight the streets are ours
Something is...!
The sea calls
The nights are cold
Baby, you're my light
Run for me
Our darkness
Born under a bad sign
Valentine
Lady solitude
Oh my love
Just like the rain (live)
Coles Corner
Hotel room
Tonight
On the ledge
The ocean
The sun refused to shine
Can you hear the rain, love?
The light at the end of the tunnel...

What kind of playlists do other people have?

This is an i-mix i did a while back, (excuse the comments about morrissey i was angry with him at the time for storming off the stage at his gig at The Sage in Gateshead, looked forward to it for months and he only did an hour, he doesn't like the north east)

You mentioned a while back that the move to your new house had inspired you to start on some new songs. How's it going? Always sad leaving somewhere with many memories, good and bad, but then the optimism kicks in - all the good times to come in the new place - a blank sheet of paper just waiting to be written.

yes very wierd for me the old house on Ranby rd was the longest i had lived anywhere in my life, the kids love it in the new house cos its got a big garden, the old house had a tiny back yard that the boys used to get really pissed off in they couldn't kick a ball more than about two feet, they were born in that house too, when we moved i went into the bedroom to say goodbye that made me very emotional, but its ok its gone to a lovely couple who are planning a family,it was a happy house on the whole so best of luck to them.

I've been trying not to write songs much as this month is supposed to be family time but i can't bloody stop writing ideas,i have a shit load of stuff on tape to mess around with when its time to do another album i'll probably start messing about with finishing them sometime this year
