I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

This was the funniest thing they've ever been involved in from a year or so back. I was in the kitchen at the time making the tea when this news filtered through from the kids watching telly in the front...
I nearly severed my finger off I was laughing that hard as I was chopping carrots at the time...

As Mark E Smith so eloquently opined: British People in Hot Weather.

I'm more Jeremy Hardy than Laurel and Hardy...

As for the Chuckle Brothers - I'm with Maggie...

That is nearly as scary as the Christmas picture of the Pissflaps dressed as elves...

going back a good 10 years or so ago I photographed them for The Crucible Theatre for promo for their panto. The PR told me that the 2 of them apparently lived together and the walls of their house were decked with a multitude of photos of themselves. I have no idea as to the truthfulness of this but if it is so then it does go some way to backing up Charlie Brooker's view that they are Britain's most suspect comedy duo.

Had the misfortune to watch 'Little Red Riding Hood' the panto at Bolton Albert Halls (the joys of teaching) and 2 guys were in it who were not the Chuckle Brothers, but they were also in the programme (Chucklevision? To Me To You?) How embarrassing - you work with the Chuckle Brothers and are a 'comedy' duo but have to play second fiddle to them.

Used to catch the odd glimpse of ChuckleVision in the late 90s and wonder how the CBs were still working. In 2008, that question becomes even more incredulous. They should have gone the same way as Bodger and Badger.

not so embarassing when you consider the fact that the "two guys also in the programme" were likely to be jimmy and brian, the elder brothers of the chuckle brothers.

see? it all runs in the family.
