Well just in case you make Oxford the best Guiness can be found in The Black Swan in Crown Street; five minutes from the gig. Tempted?

Mind you the venue (carling academy) is crud. To say the security are over zealous is an understatement. I went to see Travis there last year, i was in the balcony and we were hearded in like sheep, don't stand up whatever you do, they come running up to you in packs.... Open up the Opera House again on Westgate Rd. that was a crackin venue.

One of my friends went and I gather Richard only appeared for The Fix. He was on line here yesterday and did say he was with Elbow waiting to go on stage.

RH came on for 'The Fix' and joined them for the encore song 'Grace Under Pressure'. He got a fantastic reception when he came on. Elbow were awesome, magical and insert your own adjective here. I also thought that the venue was MILES better than my home town Academy (Birmingham).

Thanks Richard-you and the mighty Elbow: what a combination!

See you in Brum maybe?
