ta for that link, it was a really interesting read.
i always had it in my head that in the 50's and 60's rock 'n' roll was a kind of american/ british thing, but by watching those clips proves its a worldwide concept.
they are all excellent musicians and showmen.
who knows hank marvin might of copied 'the violents'' like 'the beatles' copied american artists, ie. chuck berry or little richard.
