Hello Richard,

You said that you wanted to re-record "I'm Looking For Someone To Find Me".
If you re-record it, will you release it in the future ?
I really want to listen to new version :D .

I know you've scrapped that idea but still, considering a re-record? why? It sounds pretty damn fine to my ears.

Just to chuck in my two penn'orth I think Richard's live versions of the song sound much 'better' than the recorded version; all good stuff though

that exactly why i wanted to re record the track for a single, its a lesson learned really, because of budget restraints in the past i have had to rush things in the studio or record songs before playing them in live which is ok for the gentler stuff like coles corner but things develop live with us naturally look at the massive difference between Ocean on record and live for example!

I just get frustrated when i know a song has more in it than the recorded version i suppose

They're ALL ace live................ you get extra energy and power (and the banter of course).............

I haven't heard a duff live version of anything yet................

There was once one track on Jools Holland that I didn't like but that's another story.......... :*:

I know!

I do have opinions other than just positive ones, but I prefer to stay upbeat where RH is concerned cos I think he's the best thing since............

well, since Elvis!! And that's saying something for me....................

And there are also some of Elvis' records I don't like either..........so its not all TOTAL devotion............... :?

I can understand that, but from a listener's point of view, all of your stuff is of the highest calibre anyway. With many musicians, their live work is a disappointment compared to their recorded stuff, but you and the guys always bring something fresh to each live gig. I can listen to ten different live versions of the same song (yes, I do have a life and yes I do go out sometimes!!), and they each have a different quality..... all fantastic, thank you! :D

It's great too when you go to a gig and get a little something extra from meeting the song in person. If you are looking carbon copies of the CD you may as well be going to a DJ Sash gig.

That's when Hell freezes over. I can't think of anything more musically awful.

Well.....except actually being DJ Sash :*:
