Putting on your album when you go into shops must be like comedians having their catchphases shouted at them in the street... Meant to be a compliment but a bit embarassing....

Surprised you don't drive Mr H.... Is it coz the buses are so good in Sheffield?

Driving in Sheffield   we drove round and round trying to get out of the city the morning after the O8 Our Kids gig in March. Did a grand tour of the suburbs before eventually finding the road we needed to get to the M1

That's exactly what happened to me when I tried to leave Sheffield once! You can get in OK, but then you just keep going round in circles! :? Must be a conspiracy.

I wouldn't like to be without the car. Try to convince your wife Richard, that you really need a Classic! Anything before 1975 (I think) And the tax is free. Or maybe one of these...Image

Sorry, getting carried away again :*: :alien:

My dad had one of those in the 60s. It was all right when Mum rode pillion and I got the front seat to myself, but if Mum was riding in the sidecar my sister and I used to be squashed into the back seat.

Gratuitous motorbike and sidecar pic #2
This is my great grandparents posing with my grandad's bike....contrary to appearances they hadn't just run over the bloke lying on the ground (probably one of their 9 sons)
