if you are so inclined do a google search for camel spider bite and behold the damage those things can do, scary stuff.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I had a spider living behind my car wing mirror (in the plastic cover). Every day i used to wipe away his web and the next morning a new one had been made.
Same thing for about a month, then one day whilst driving to Carlisle across the A69 he got blown away, i shed a tear coz i felt we bonded in our short time together, i named him Boris after the song.
Anyway imagine my surprise when last week i got a postcard off him, he's shacked up in Haltwhistle with a lady spider and they have 120 kids and after they come back from the pub on saturday night their gonna make mad passionate love..... then she's gonna eat him :?

:D Now THAT'S mad passionate love... the things a bloke will risk to get laid, eh?

I was chatting to a soldier a while back who'd just come back from his second stint in Iraq - he reckoned the spiders were the most dangerous thing out there. Had those big butch squaddies properly quaking in their boots - you don't hear about that on the news, do you?

From the title of the picture it is a camel spider fly tying - hmm, not sure I'd like to find that in my house.

Ahh. Well, alright, I'm going to change my statement if I may:

I'm perfectly happy to have Melvin and co around, but I wouldn't be best pleased if I found a camel spider in my banana box.
