Ok so why the f**k are we in England paying so much for our fuel? Cos that arrogant T**t Brown won't reduce the tax we're paying on it. Why? cos that other arrogant t**t Blair has got this country so deep into debt with labours tax and spend attitude. If Brown was such a clever 'economist' how come he could't have predicted than when the third world starts to develop ie China and India the demand for fuel goes sky high. Couldn't these overpaid world economists have predicted that the cost of fuel was going to cause motorists everywhere to be really pissed off? True answer? they f*****g knew it would happen but governments wordwide did nothing except keep it quiet and rub their greasy hands together. As for so-called 'green taxes' they can all go and f**k themselves over that one. CO2....... I'm made of it. I breathe! sorry it's not my fault that I'm a human animal. Notice how the words 'global warming' have been dropped in favour of climate change! why. Because global warming has reached its peak and is now finished. Those c***s around the world in governments are trying to keep their dream alive and convince you and I my friend that we've all got to do our bit and stop doing this and that and pay a heavy price in taxes. As for what drives the worlds climate there is only one thing....THE SUN, that big yellow thing in the sky that keeps our planet stable. So it is not me and my human counterparts worldwide that are bringing about climate change at all. I also HATE the expression 'the fight against climate change' Re-phrase it to 'the fight against the sun' cos that's what it amounts to and I'm afraid for anyone who tries to fight the sun......It's a losing battle!!!! god I enjoyed that!! :o

What is the origin of the name Woodcock? Like people called Butcher probably had a purveyor of meat as an ancestor or a Smith used to put shoes on horses.

Woodcock??? Hmmmmm :eh?

We're named after the bird.

"Woodcock
An English surname found in Co. Cork in pre-Cromwellian times when it was introduced into Co. Kilkenny."

Or

"This interesting surname is of Anglo-Saxon origin, and has two possible sources. Firstly, the surname may be a nickname for a naive person, from the Middle English "woodcock", a compound of the Olde English pre 7th Century "wude", wood, and "cocc", cock, bird, a bird easily caught. Roger Wudecoc is noted in the 1176 Pipe Rolls of Hertfordshire. Secondly, the surname may be locational from any of various places named with the Olde English elements "wudu", wood, and "cot", cottage, shelter, as for example, Woodcott in Cheshire and Hampshire, or from Woodcote in Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Shropshire. Locational surnames were developed when former inhabitants of a place moved to another area, usually to seek work, and were best identified by the name of their birthplace. Adam de Wudecota is listed in the Pipe Rolls of Shropshire (1193). In the modern idiom the surname can be found as Woodcock, Woodcocks and Woodcott. On November 4th 1565, William Woodcock married Johan Averidge at the Church of St. Mary at Hill, London, and the christening of Richard, son of Ambrose Woodcock, took place at St. Lawrence Jewry's, London, on March 14th 1585. The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of William Wdecoch, which was dated 1175, in the "Pipe Rolls of Norfolk", during the reign of King Henry 11, known as "The Builder of Churches", 1154 - 1189. Surnames became necessary when governments introduced personal taxation. In England this was known as Poll Tax. Throughout the centuries, surnames in every country have continued to "develop" often leading to astonishing variants of the original spelling."

Hello Dave.

It's not really an attempt to 'get at' anyone its just a witty line by Nigel Blackwell that's all. So technically you should unleash your wrath onto him for writing it I guess. :*:

Funnily enough Dave, he also wrote a song called 'fear my wrath' so maybe you and he should meet up. As for being a cockend, aren't we all at times. Especially when we're pissed. That's just what we blokes were put here for isn't it?

Wise words al, wise words. We were indeed put here to be cockends and set petrol prices at unfeasibly stupid levels, to not understand what women are saying and to get excited by gadgets.
