"The Culture Show on 10 June – the first from its Glasgow base – will feature an interview with 27-year old Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

Like his fellow members of the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra, Dudamel is the product of El Sistema, free musical education for some of the poorest young people in Venezuela. Simon Rattle called Dudamel and El Sistema "the most important thing happening in classical music today"; and a similar scheme is being established in the Raploch estate near Stirling.

Andrew Graham-Dixon takes to the Scottish skies to look at land art along the M8, with a drop-off at Charles Jenck's astronomy-inspired Garden of Cosmic Speculation in Dumfries and Galloway, as well as music from Elbow and Richard Hawley."

I missed the show on Tuesday, so was delighted to find it is repeated tonight. :D

If anyone going to Delamere Forest tomorrow would like to meet up please send me a PM. I am looking forward to it, but the weather forecast says light showers. :( I don't think brollies are allowed. I don't know whether to take a seat, I'm not as young as I used to be.

:D The weather report for Northwich tonight has changed from 'Light Showers' to 'Sunny Intervals'. <*> I will take my rain coat, just in case. I'm still not sure about the folding chair, I don't think I can be bothered to carry one.

Edited to add it is now raining!!! :(

Live update. Mr Hawley (wearing shades) watched from the wings as Guy Garvey joined I Am Kloot for a stunning version of 'To You'.

Yes, it's the boring bit between bands ;)

What a great gig, there was a great atmosphere in the forest. I enjoyed it. No rain and a lovely moon in the sky. :D
