The Ocean always stopped my little cousin from crying when she was younger too. Now she dances to Serious.

We had a 'Hawley disco' before bathtime tonight. I put on Valentine and our little bomber side-swiped his big brother to get to my shoulder. Hawley's one of their favourites.

They also like the Bunnymen, Sugababes, Aqua (Barbie Girl)...and...Michael Buble.

A right mixed bag.

the girls like most of Coles Corner, Reverend and the makers, Kirstie McColl (especially In these shoes.....) and the Clash - basically most good diverse music except Elvis Costello which their dad is obsessed with.. when any tunes come on the Ipod they can normally recognise the tune as we often play Beat the intro.... great for long boring car journeys!

On car journeys, our three each hold aloft an imaginary drumstick and try to come in on time after the first chorus of Tonight The Street Are Ours. Paddy's really crap. He's three.

The miles fly by....

My missus works with old people with intellectual disabilities

Ladies Bridge is one of the few records that will get them all to settle down.
One of them regularly requests "roll the river"
:)
