Just wondered what you thought of the Galway gig last night? Strangest seating set up Ive ever seen  , thought I'd stumbled into someones wedding reception at first.
I always enjoy the intimate ones the best, really loved the set you played and great to see some familiar rockin' faces from Dublin and Mayo make the trip (thanks for the lift Rita )

You're welcome!
It was great to catch up. A privilege to get to spend time with someone who's such a social butterfly! :*:

The venue was a bit wedding reception-y, wasn't it? Still, once everybody else was shown the right way to do it (i.e., stand!), we all had a rockin' good time!

Can't wait for the next

there an idea for a thread.. mugshots !

the setup was indeed weird with the convention type set up, seats at the side and the big gap in the middle it reminded me of one of those god squad bible bashing preacher meets you have in the US. The initial idea though was for all the seats to be right in the middle which would have given it the feel of political party conference or somethin. It worked well in the end.

I dunno- the lighting was mad throughout this gig- occasional moments of almost daylight in the venue

but there was a moment where the only stage lighting was from the music stand

and it was very nice indeed
