This is just 4 weeks away a great chance to see the boss in a small nightclubish sized venue. And if that wernt enough for 35 euros which is about 27 of your British pounds you can see the Fall too who are playing the night before, so thats Hawley plus Cathy Davey supporting who is quite good AND The Fall. We've book trains and hotels and its gonna be a cracking weekend. :BEEEER

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Went to Ireland a few years ago (I think it was Derry way) where there was a village called Muff and a big sign publicising the 'Muff Festival.' There's a photo somewhere - if I find it, I'll post it.

It's in Donegal (where I'm from)

There was an urban myth going around about a diving school there...not true unfortunately :)

I hope the band and followers will enjoy the delights of Muff during the trip....it's only about ten miles from Letterkenny.

It must be worth a detour, Mr H, if only for a photo for the scrapbook?

I think the annual Muff Festival is not until the first week in August though fellas. You may be premature...

Well the Grill has certainly changed since I were a lad! Lovely venue

Great gig by the lads and very well attended. I brought my sister and brother in law and they too were really impressed. Banter was kept to a minimum prompting my sister to ask "is he a bit grumpy?"

yes, I said, yes he is :)
