Sadly, no - just a minimum temperature as far as I'm aware...........

You'll have to listen out for the ice cream man (provided you hear him if Sheffield have banned the chimes after 6 or 7 seconds like they have in other towns............

I think he was a senior offier in the SS during WWII, Himmler sent him off to play with his Goebbels.

There is no maximum temp but if your workplace temp goes below 60 degrees F you are in your rights to refuse to work.

Temperature at Work - Heat
This briefing is intended for safety representatives who are concerned about temperature in their place of work.

It is usually accepted that people work best at a temperature between 16°C and 24°C, although this can vary depending on the kind of work being done. Strenuous work is better performed at a slightly lower temperature than office work. The Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers recommends the following temperatures for different working areas:

Heavy work in factories: 13°C
Light work in factories: 16°C
Hospital wards and shops: 18°C
Offices and dining rooms: 20°C

Our office is 81.2/27.3 - lovely. Deputy boss is taking me for an ice cream soon (well, he says we're going for a meeting to discuss work load over the next few months but he is most definitely going to have to buy me a decent ice cream if he wants any co-operation in the matter).
