It always sells out months before. Stick your finger in your and learn a 17 verse shanty and you might get on the bill!!

Will it just be the man and Shez doing his acoustic stuff? There's usually full coverage on Radio 2!

Full band - richard is a huge steelye span fan so he's planning the gig to be a homage to maddy prior - opening with all around my hat.

Now they tell us - CatsnB there are tickets to be had on some of the profit making sites but you will be paying a high price for them.

I've heard that rumour cod, I know he's also partial to a bit of Roger Whittaker, so expect some whistling solo's and a barnstorming versions of 'Durham Town' and 'Daytrip to Bangor' ! :D

Shame about the tickets being sold out. I bet it'll be a really good set and I am sure he'll win over quite a few new fans.

No I bloody won't. I'll happily pay to get myself half way round the country and hotels for gigs but I won't give some bastard rip-off merchant an over-inflated price for a ticket. I'm stubborn that way. I shall have to console myself with knowing that Richard and the band will be getting in a bit of practice before Holmfirth. Just a shame with it being pretty much up the road ... Knebworth would be closer though ... ... there's an idea, I hope Cod's taking notes :*:

.... and I'm still hoping that Portsmouth's European debut is going to be Barcelona or Milan ... with Richard playing in that city the night before/after ... so having to save some pennies for the emergency travel fund.

..... of course, I might have to put my principles to one side ... if only I could work out how ebay works :? :? £44 ... is that a bit steep? There's two tickets going for £80? ... Denise this is all your fault for putting the idea in my head. :*:

The original ticket cost was £44 so £80 for two is not bad.

  Okay ... but I daren't learn how to use ebay ... I scare myself just thinking about what mischief I'd get up to with my shoe habit ... bag habit ... westwood yearnings .... ... no I can't be trusted on ebay. :?
