Right, Dave.....I'll see your Red Guitars and Comsat Angels, and I'll raise you this :D

Best live band of the 80s....along with The Bunnymen, Triffids and a couple of others

Anyone who is still under the impression that the 80s were a musical void should definitely listen to their first couple of albums

Hi Baroness, sorry for butting in but Script Of the Bridge is a finer album i thought with the wonderful View From a Hill at the end, I've got the 1st cd version that came out if you want to give it a listen, as it has been re-released again this year & am unsure just what has been done to it, but this copy is sound PM me if you want a copy.
By the way if anyone see's a downloadable version of Mark Burgess doing a cover of You Only Live Twice give me a nod, it was released as part of a compilation on Vinyl around '95 through Cartel (if my aged mind serves)& lost the copy i had & would kill for another, failing that i'll do wi just that song.
Ta.

There's a version of the Mark Burgess track on You Tube, you can use Zamzar to save it as an MP3 - not as good as a decent download but better than nothing at all.

Thanks Denise once again!! if i remember the track was lets say a bit unproduced in it's original format & sounded like it had been recorded in a caravan but it was on vinyl so that might be why as much as i love the format.
Ta Mandy
