Its come over as black as pitch here - had to put the lights on! That'll make it much more fragrant on the train to work tomorrow morning - all those V-festival goers carrying a ton of damp and mud back home with them...................... :?

According to the papers the two towns look similar so the error was forgiveable.

the point was the skyline in both cities is just an anonymous stretch of interchangeable, bland high-rise :?

their words not mine. i quite like birmingham (even the accent  )

I like Birmingham, it's dead multi cultural and it's got a great atmosphere.

I've heard it's done nothing but rain in Blighty all summer.

Can't say I miss it.

It's been sunny her everyday since I got here on June 1s. I'm loving it buy I'm also getting a bit homesick.

Rain is shit though and growing up in Manchester I should know.

All I can say, is last week i turned into the end of my road and at the end was a rainbow ...

... if I get to experience rainbows then I'll happily live with the rain and the more tempestuous the better.
