but imagine being able to say you were borrowing one of the hawleys dvds. that would be pretty damn kool. especially a film of that quality.

altho if he said he'd lend me mamma mia i'd say thank you :) haha

If you were in Sheffield and spent half your life in Fagans and/or the Grapes along with some of this lot you'd be borrowing DVDs from the boss.

And I agree, if he was offering Mama Mia I don't think I'd bother.

when i went to watch the city hall gig...i found fagans. i'm fairly sure on relfection that it was full of forum folk....a strange collection of people with a common love for all things hawley. i remember feeling instantly at home as coles corner was being played :D

all pubs in derby are now shit.

a local club did put a poster of hawley up a few backs, i noticed the other day that it now has grafitti simply saying "FUCKING LEGEND".

i like being reminded that people have taste :)

We were among those people in Fagans. Certainly before the gig it was full of forum folk. After I don't know as I went straight to the aftershow, but most went back to Fagans.

I think it was full of forum folk after from what I heard.........

God it seems SO long ago now! Time for another City Hall gig I reckon.....................with special advance sales for Hawleyboarders - as Richard is now a higher profile artist we need to get in before the riff raff do! :*:

very random, but i've just discovered this smiley so felt it nesseccary to include it

It was the biggest - until the Royal Albert Hall this year....... but the City Hall is the one that meant the most to Richard - being his own home city and selling out as well................ :D
