They were great in Manchester - the first time a support band made me sit (or stand) up and take notice. It's a real shame.

Shame about the demise of the Villains, I enjoyed their set at Southampton.

I bought a very nice poster at the EOTR festival at the weekend. You can see it (and some tasty other posters) here

I just found out yesterday that the band had broken up. Gutted. I bought their album a few days after it was released as I'd really enjoyed their gig as support for the boss here in Belfast.

I brought that CD into work and converted 4 other people to their music, all of whom admitted they'd never heard of them before, but proceeded to buy the CD themselves. It is such a shame that labels put so little effort into promoting genuine talent like these guys, instead of lazily relying on one hit wonders like the x factor winners for their quick money.
