Says above that RH is on at End of Road on 12 Sep. Planning to come back a day early from getting nailed in Jerusalem especially. End of Road website says RH is on on 14th. What's that all about?

I suspect when Eoin posted that it was known RH would be playing the fetival, which starts on the 12th, but not which particualr day he'd be on exactly.

I feel dirty.

Thanks, RH. And also Craig. And also Eoin. I'll be the guy with the menorah. Or something. Just ask. End of The Road is a lovely thing and RH at the end will make it, I think, an event of note. Bollocks and unintentional pun but you get my drift. And thanks.

Well, that was pretty much the epitome of perfection. Technically and in every other way. Just brilliant. And I have to say, watching Dad play in full mode must the the coolest thing any kid could ever do. Ever, ever. Thanks, RH, for a great night. And hope you didn't go overboard on the Somerset Cider.

The End of the Road was great, muddy...but great. Thanks for a great Sunday evening Richard, the high spot of the weekend for me.

The garden stage was pretty much packed, I'd love to see the picture your little girl snapped from the stage :)

Here's a few pics for now, I'll dig out some more soon:

Richard Hawley. The sun shines out of his...err....Gretsch.

An extract from an article (this is the only bit worth reading! :*: )

Despite the mixed conditions, many of the acts seemed to enjoy the event - which allows acts to play longer sets than at other festivals - with Richard Hawley even telling the crowd during his set: "I've been doing festivals for 15 years and this is without a doubt the best."

Super pictures Simon.

It might be nice idea to open up a "gallery" section on here for all of the pics of Richard and co. (and us? )As they're always in the various sections on here, they tend to get lost over time. A home of their own is what they need.

absolutely fabulous pics, Simon. I must have been standing close to you along with another forumee I found on the way. Sensible to edit out the photo of the hawley brood, it was a lovely photo but best not to post. Not least 'cos I think I recognized them and their minder from the flashing square stage in the enchanted space where me and my mate were berking around dancing to 'jukebox baby' with a swarm of kids and I was teaching them swirlly arms above the head while bouncing in wellies .... I really hope not
