Yeah, yeah, you were only there to find out how to get away from there, or something, to be sure.

All train spotting posts are now in the Misc section.

yeah i am not a prude but it makes going on the board a bit of a furtive affair cos i don't want the kids seeing it....it would take a lot of explaining

If you're talking about the spacehoppers (!) you can still get them - larger than the originals as well apparently!

I'd love to get one as a present for somebody so I could have a go............. :*:

Wotchit you guys. I can see what you're trying to do.

I lob in a couple of spacehoppers as a joke, you then take it off topic and I get bollocked by the cyber cops for the second day on the trot.

I've only just stopped sulking from being branded a trainspotting geek.

Back to Castleton quick..........

Will you be arriving at Castleton on your space hoppers johnnycheekychops ... there might be a queue to bounce on your orange bouncy balls if you're not careful and where would you park them anyway?

Unfortunately, they're wearing pretty thin in parts after all these years, cats, despite some fumbled patch-ups with a puncture repair kit. Crikey that glue smarts!

The old boys have seen a lot of action. Summer of '76 in particular.

Also, they don't perform at their best in the cold so I may leave them behind for the Castleton trip. A queue, eh? That would be a first....if only.
