great pedal steel playing not at all cliched good song too not heard of her before cheers love :wink:the folks that slept on my Mom and dad's sofa over the years when i was a kid was interesting,Tim Rose,Phil Everly,Joe Cocker.....to name a few............i was only a little boy so didn't understand but they were all very nice,my Mum and dad had a party once i woke up it was one morning around christmas time in the early 70's and went down stairs to find this big hairy man snoring on our sofa i started playing my guitar in the other room so must have woke him up,he called me in and said it sounded nice and would i get him a drink,this was about half 7 in the morning........i went to the in the kitchen to the sink,fact i was so little i had to get a stool to reach,i got him a drink of water he said thanks but no thanks and went to the fridge and got a big bottle of cider out and caned the lot before midday(my Mum told me it was cider years later)him,My Dad and My Uncle frank went to the pub after and got rat arsed......mental...no wonder i am such a model of restraint in adulthood :roll:

That's sweet..thankyou.
I really love all the Gainsbourg/Jane Birkin songs... and the whole little romantic story they had...there is an exhibition in Paris at the moment at the Musee de Musique,worth looking..if you find yourself in Paris between now and March 09.
My favourite is probably La Decadanse,I mean it's pretty naughty......but what the hell,it's divine.
