Last night I went along to the Grapes and witnessed the Smoke Fairies live.......Fucking awesome!! The boss was in attendance and snapper and we were all blown away. Imaculate guitar playing, slide stuff and harmonies tighter than Sunflowers knickers! I spoke to their manager after who believes they're playing The Castle pub coz that's where they're staying. :wink:

I just want to say I'm really looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible.....dont believe the hype, i'm a nice guy really and this internet stuff is all for a laugh as it should be. I've made some lifelong friends over the past 5 years on here and hope to make more and for us all to have an absolutely banging time.

See you tomorrow everyone and if I've ever got on your tits in the past on here.....remember, this is not real life....tomorrow is!

A top, top night all round. Starting with (extortionate!) coffee and chrimbo scones with The Baroness and Denise who I finally got to meet for the first time. Too many to mention who I bumped into last night but i'll give honourable mentions to Palerider, Sunflower, Baroness, Dawoodcock, Dave Woodcock (who's new haircut makes him look about 12!) Snapper (thanks for the pint mate!) 'top lad' Paul Hoyland, Nick D, Jill A, Fagans Lass, emmtee (Mr Timm) Hairyonion, Alex (Chumley), Beaux and Hazel, MissBumblebee, Lofty Eric, Bolton lass and Jason, Steve O, Longpig and Longpigs dad (where did Sheds go and hide??) The legend that is my best mate 'The Craig' and Marie and nice to see Michelvis again. My girlfriend Sophie was bowled over by her first Hawley gig and how lovely everyone was. Sorry if I've missed anyone out........
Let's hope we can all get together again soon.

Thanks to Graham for organising the gig (and getting Neil McSweeney, Little Lost David, Smoke Fairies and Pete M to do the pub sets!) and of course Mr H and band for a cock-on performance.
