Oooh yes, I'm remembering hershey is it ... ... yep Cadbury's much much nicer .... I'm slowly demolishing an entire tin of Roses ... all the purple ones have gone

Hershey chocolate smells just like vomit to me.

I worked out in czechoslovakia in 92/93 and it was still difficult to get much choice. The americans used to get so excited when they received a food parcel .. they loved that chocolate ... I couldn't understand it, czech chocolate was pretty rank but I still wasn't eating that hershey stuff .... there again, they all hated marmite

.. they were all unblinkingly self-confident ... and very loud ... I'm not sure that was due to the Hersheys though ...


not that I'm stereotyping Americans, these were just the ones I worked with ... one of them went to see a screening of Gone With The Wind and came back and said how good it was and whether maybe slavery might have been a good thing

It was 15 years ago ... believe me when I say I've mellowed a lot since then


... I think after I'd picked my chin off the floor, I may have started along the lines of "they were f***ing slaves!! ... " before I launched into an entire historiography of north american slavery.
