Good luck to her I say! Diversity were excellent and I loved Julian Smith - I'm a sucker for a good saxophone. His playing reminded me of Kenny G.
On a sour note, I was FURIOUS about that kid Hollie Steel getting a second chance. There was no second chance for Greg Pritchard when his cape didn't work right and he faltered in the middle of his song. And as for Amanda Holden saying that girl's voice was 'natural and pure' - utter tosh! She's been voice coached to death! I blame her mother - trying to live out her fantasies through her kid and, yes, I agree with those who say that whole episode may well have been contrived. How can Simon Cowell say she's 'officially the bravest little girl in the world?' Bollocks! Alder Hey Children's Hospital is full of little girls braver than her. Grrrrrr
Absolutely agree - I read in one today's papers that she had had over one hour of psychiatric counselling before the live show. Her mother really p*ssed me off by hovering at the edge of the stage and putting herself in the limelight. The kid sounds normal enough when she's just chatting, but seems to be 'stage-schooled' to within an inch of her life; no normal ten year old sounds like that! I'm glad she didn't win.
Loved Julian Smith too and though Diversity worthy winners
