Front row won't be too bad - I wouldn't worry.

I can't wait for this gig. I work at the town hall and on one of my first meetings I was chatting to the guys who run the Glee club and saying how perfect it'd be to get RH to play here and now it's happening! I actually leave my job here next Friday so this will be the last gig I ever work on.

Put on a good show for us eh Richard :D

Just got back from the gig and I'm buzzing! It was superb.... The venue was beautifully suited to the guys, and Richard was on great form, joking with the audience and appeared to be loving the atmosphere. :*: :*:

Dean got a well deserved raptuous welcome in his home town and made us all proud!

Best of all for me, Richard dedicated "Ashes on the fire" to me as a thank you for suggesting that he played there and then offered Mark and I front row seats that he had seen offered on ebay for £140... He gleefully told us that he wouldn't pay that for a car was was chuffed that they'd remained unsold.
We were too shy to move straight away but raced round to them before the encore. He played three songs as an ancore and "The Ocean" was as usual magnificent....
Brilliant brilliant brilliant night! Thanks guys :*: :*:

Dont suppose it was Row A seats 15 and 16? They were mine and I can categorically say there were never offered on Ebay.

I'm actually Sat here sweating at the thought of missing this gig, just woke the Mrs up to tell her. Had arranged to finish work early tomorrow for some reason I had it in my head it was tomorrow night .

"Best audience on this tour....by a mile"

Cor, ta Mr H, you weren't so bad either. And thank you for 'Troublesome Waters' which is probably up there with my favourite tunes of yours.

Cracking night and that Saw is something else.

The Smoke Fairies were brilliant, those who stayed in the bar missed something special. They even gave me a free badge afterwards, thanks girls.

Julie, I thought you had bottled the offer of the vacant ebay seats, but glad to see you scuttle there at the end.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Hi.
Not really into posting on forums, this could well be the first and last,so a couple of things I'd like to say.
The new album is brilliant, and probably his finest so far in my opinion.
Last night we were lucky enough to be at Birmingham Town Hall to see Richard and his band give as good a performance as I've ever seen from anybody.
Oh,and I quite liked those Smoke Fairies as well.
Cheers
Phil

I sold my tix on ebay - did anyone notice a famous footballer in the left side circle Row A right at the front?

Mentioning no names - this guy used to play for England - then again maybe there are a load of guys called ***** ******* in the Brum / Worcestershire area...

I would have gone but having spent a fair few days in London following Mott the Hoople - I knew I would be skint so the tickets had to go.

Still have tickets for Liverpool and Sheffield tho'
