Me too e-botti. I could never have predicted what a great time I would have travelling all over the UK to see Richard, and the wonderful mix of people I'd meet here on the forum and in person at gigs. Long may it continue.

Wooooooh! We've decided that although we've booked for the York gig, we can't pass up the chance to see Richard in our home city, so Sean's just booked us tickets in the front row of the gallery. Here's hoping Richard tells the balcony joke!! :D

They say owners start to look like their dogs Auntie Angie ..... we are in the centre of front row of the gallery too. Should we be looking for someone with sleek dark hair, moist nose and a dribbly mouth?

:*: yes that's true but in this case it's a good description of my other half!! He won't be there he's not into concerts and like a dog he's lazy!
I was lucky to get the tickets not many seats left.

Last time I saw RH at the Queens hall you could sit any where. I was in the second row in the stalls right behind The Baroness and a few others, it was a great night. I am a so looking forward to it and so jealous that you are all going to the one in York it's fabulous down there!

Not many seats left - hurray, it will be a full house. I was thinking of leaving work early in the hope of bumping into Richard in one of the little shops in the Queens Hall vicinity .... There's a drum shop (Drum Central) and another musical instrument shop (Scayles) within walking distance of the venue. But as I can't play anything save a comb and paper, I might look out of place!

Just home from the gig at the Queens Halls - it was wonderful! It's a converted church, so a large part of the seating is pew-like.

Despite a couple of technical hitches, the band were fantastic, and Richard was in his element. How often do you hear Rudolf Hess mentioned at a music gig? The Edinburgh crowd were a bit reserved to start with (they are very nice y'know, compared to their Glasgow counterparts), but by the end were baying for more.

Please come back to Edinburgh again Richard!

Final leg on our own Hawley mini tour( York, Bexhill and hometown of Edinburgh);(All 3 gigs were just great but Bexhill amazing).Queens Hall a great venue but boy it gets really hot but enough carping a great concert;My personal highlight of this tour is Remorse Code,such a wonderful song,also Run For Me just sensational.
So onto Sheffield in December ,never been before and really looking forward to it;

I really enjoyed the gig. Some great musicianship on display from the band. A nice if subdued atmosphere. The Queen's Hall did not used to have seating in front of the stage, but I guess the material was not really boppy stuff, so maybe it was right for the concert last night.

Great gig last night, even allowing for the couple of slight technical problems. Enjoyed the Smoke Fairies. I was lucky enough to be passing the Queen's Hall a couple of hours before the concert, the front doors to the venue were open and managed to catch a quick glimpse of Richard and the guys carrying out their sound check.

Really enjoyed Richard's solo version of Troublesome Waters.

We loved Mr H music last night even with the few hiccups!

We were first in the door, only to get sent out again by the fire alarm going off :shock: We had rubbish seats up in the circle :cry: it got so hot and uncomfortable!

We had to leave just before the last song, and we missed the encore :cry: (was the guitar vibrations supposed to reach the circle we though it was an earthquake :shock:)
We don't fancy going back there unless we get the stalls! or if Mr H's promoters can get a another better/bigger venue here??? :wink:
