I searched and didn't see this yet, but it must be here somewhere. Still on then? (Not that I could make it, but don't want to confuse things from afar).

Richard Hawley Live Instore
Almost exactly four years ago (6 Sept 2005 to be precise), Richard Hawley played here in Piccadilly Records to promote his "Cole’s Corner" album.
We are very excited to announce that he is set to return on Tuesday 22nd September at 3pm, to play a few songs from his wonderful new album "Truelove’s Gutter".
Hopefully he will have enough time to sign copies of the new album too - but he has got to dash off to do some radio, so we can’t promise anything.
He played to a packed shop last time, and his reputation and following has grown considerably since then. For that reason, although it is a free event, you will need a ticket to attend this performance. Ask in store about availability.

That's what most people say when they get there.

Would have loved to go along to this one, but I'm now in the back of beyond (Hull :*: ) with work that day.

For anyone who would like to go but can't get along to pick up a ticket in advance, this is the response I got from Piccadilly:

Thanks for the inquiry – the tickets are being made available first off to people who come in to pre-order the album on either CD or vinyl.

It’s on a 1 ticket per purchase basis. Due to space restrictions we’re limiting it to just 100 tickets.

If you can only make it to Manchester on the day – then you can also pre-order on our website, if you want to do this then in the special instructions box put - ‘collecting instore on Tuesday September 22nd with free instore ticket’.

Sounds good - shame I can't make it.
