Had a great time last night! Mark and I listened to Trueloves Gutter twice through on our way back to Brum... Really liked it especially "Open up your Door" - a perfect partner to a dark late night motorway. :D

[quote=" He told me what had been going on with the unpleasantness in the PM's - I nearly cried in sympathy but I don't blame him at all for leaving until things are sorted out.

What unpleasantness Julie?

It's all in this thread - not going to repeat any of the gory details as he told me in confidence but despite what has been said elsewhere its not any of the regulars or the way the forum has developed, just some rather awful people out there! :?

I would have loved to have been at the session, any chance Richard might do something like this in Ireland :*:

Wow! The Rough tarde gig was the first time I've seen Richard Hawley and the moment he started singing I was completely blown away. I've never heard anyone with a voice like that before!

What a lovely bloke he is too! He signed a CD for me and complimented me on my clothes! That made my year.

Had a great night! Was great to meet some of the Hawleyboarders (Baroness, Denise, Julie, Mark and Former Pink Lady) Thanks to Mark for taking the pics of me and Mr. H. too. They'll have pride of place in the outhouse.

And we got more songs than we bargained for too... I think I prefer these acoustic in-store sets more than full blown gigs...

Took some photo's of Richard and Shez and as soon as I figure out Flickr I'll post a link. Probably tonight some time...

Shame we missed you Arne.

I don't think that the finger was ever pointed at any of the regulars or blame laid at their door for this incident, but it was used as an opportunity to point out that there have been some innapropriate requests made via the Forum to Richard and also his privacy on and off the Forum hasn't always been respected.

Rather than prompt any more specualteion or rumour about what might have happened, which is the last thing he'd want, hence telling you in confidence, I think we should consider the subject closed now.

Thanks for that - it was not my intention to start more speculation - despite the fact that admin have their fingers permanently on the delete key where I am concerned I am not here to make trouble or start further arguments.

As far as I am concerned the subject is well closed and I look forward to seeing Richard back on here eventually and the place regaining its usual calm friendliness.
