What a wonderful evening Richard Hawley and the band gave us, the music was sublime, the Sage is know in the north east as a place for telegraph reader's * and a mosh-pit was never going to happen.
What the Sage lacked in wildness, it made up by giving the audience a feeling of intimacy, it was if Mr.Hawley and the boy's were in me front room.............and that was bliss.
I was the rebel, taking photo's and dancing in me seat.

Mr.Hawley and lad's youze were fucking great. x

I thoroughly enjoyed this show, always a nice venue. I was on level 2 balcony and when i gazed across the audience they seemed spellbound and very appreciative, smiles everywhere.

'Soldier On' was again brilliant, 'Troublesome Waters' and 'Don't Get Hung Up In Your Soul' fucking ace.
'Tonight' the concentration on the intro and outro(?) from Richard and Shez, looks like telepathy going on.
My fave 'For Your Lover...' and 'The Ocean' always a fine ending capped a good night.

3 shows down and looking forward to December 5th. Thank you for shining some light on my otherwise dull exsistance. ..> :D

Nice to meet The Magster, Jan, Julie and Ray if only for a few minutes. (and of course cheery Palf)

Yes the Sage is a bit tame, but at least the middle of the front row was lively!!!

we enjoyed the gig i love the venue the crowd were a bit tame but attentive and showed their appreciation at the end i have been struggling with feeling ill on this tour we have all had a stomach bug going round the bus, nothing savage but it drains you of energy, but i tried my best,we had to cut a song as the venue has a strict curfew and i didn't want to end up with a fine which is a shame i was wanting to play for a lot longer but they wouldn't let me the sage is great though so its no critisism

Didn't realise you all felt ill, it didn't show.
