This is going to sound mad but it really did happen. Some years back during the winter months I lost my wedding ring. The whole family and myself spent hours looking for it to no avail. It was a really nice ring made in white gold and I was really mad for loosing it. Thing was I just couldn't remember ever taking it off. I went to go to bed and the usual trip to the loo- as you do and as I finished, I did the tucking the tackle back in only to find my the flamin ring in the bottom ofd me pants!! The only reason was that as it was cold that day the ring slid of my finger on a previous visit to the loo. Thing is all my family that loose stuff now keep asking if I have it - but I sometimes let the wife have a look!!

Oooooooo matron!

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "Ring Piece".

I once found the telly remote in the fridge and me and the missus rowed over who had put it there.

More recently (and more worryingly) I got off the train at the wrong stop and I was too embarrassed to get back on so I waited ten minutes for the next one. It was the stop I used for work each day eight years ago!!

I once rushed out of work one lunch time, in a hurry to get home - just down the road at that time. Arrived there in a sweat & realised I'd left the car behind

I'd fallen asleep once on the bus home from when i lived in Donny. The estate i lived on acted as the terminus as it was at the end of the line, the bus would circle it before heading back into town. The bus had got to the next to last stop and the driver woke me up to see if it was wanting to get off yet. I told him no, it was the last stop i wanted. Bus drives on, i get off, and walk back all the way to the previous stop which was about 20 yards from my house....

Friend in London fell asleep on the tube, woke up with a start & asked the stranger sitting next to him what he'd like for breakfast.

hey up, these are great stories. After a hard day working on this computer its just what I needed :D

when i worked in london i commuted in from Windsor. It had been snowing and as I was waiting for the bus one morning to take me to the station. I had a big overcoat on and was carrying my briefcase. About 10 others were waiting as well and as i looked down at my feet i did a double take. I slowly looked down again and noticed i still had me slippers on!!!
I had to do a retreat back to me flat by walking slowly backwards so as no one noticed.

I had been at work for three hours before I (or anyone else for that matter) realised that my shirt was inside out.

I got my PIN wrong at the cashpoint. I suddenly remembered that I had changed it to the last four digits of my home phone number so that I didn't forget it. Phew!!! Unfortunately, I was too pissed to remember my phone number!

I got really cross with myself for being so stoooopid......or rather so tipsy.

Life can be tricky.......... :eh? :shaking: :BEEEER :*:

I walked around the shops all morning before a kind lady in the queue at the post office pointed out that I had a pair of knickers hanging out of the hood of my sweatshirt

Its like the missing sock when you have done the washing...........someone told me that you can buy "sacrificial socks" to put in the washing machine ................

Have you looked down the back of the settee or even under the settee?
