There was an interview on BBC snooker today (I think - not what i usually watch!) with Pete where he mentioned Mr. Hawley and discussed the snooker paintings. Just managed to catch the end of it.

WANT THEM!!!!
Have a couple of Pete Mckee canvas prints at home & absolutely adore them + have about 10 prints in my office at work & again treasure them. I have just realised this new collection is going to cost me a blinking fortune :D :D

The Gallery is now open. And if anyone on here is going, they are doing a pin badge of the Council Dog only available at the shop, I'd love one and happy to reimburse postage etc.

It's open Wednesday to Saturday and the pictures of the place on his Facebook page are wonderful.

Love the concept - will have to go see when I'm over for McSweeney in September.

As a youth I wanted to be the bass man with a rock outfit [fitting my shy retirng nature - balanced by the conflict of also wanting to be an exhibitionist] - yet at the same time I also wanted to be Northwich's answer to Jasper Johns Roger Dean and Peter Saville - this is my idea of a great afternoon out - is there a pub nearby?

Facebook doesn't allow links but if you go to Pete's Facebook Page you can see the Hawley album cover.

The gallery is up near High Holborn, close to Covent Garden/New Oxford Street.

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=53 ... hp=ids.srf

Open the link and then enlarge it by one step to see more clearly. Holborn nearest tube.
