We're over there next Feb - hope those clouds haven't gone away.

Suggestions for 'unknown beaches / coves' where you can take the dogs for a walk warmly accepted!

Not sure about the "unknown beaches" but the Cleveland Way walk along the coastline (Staithes to Robin Hoods Bay bit) has plenty of good walking for dogs. The beach at Robin Hoods Bay is ideal (when the sea is out!) and the Beach at Runswick Bay is also excellent. The cliff views and the villages in both places are wonderful. Enjoy!

We are going to stay near Darlington for the British Superbike Racing in a couple of weeks. I would love to visit Whitby while we are up that way, but it is still quite a way from where we are staying. It is nearer than travelling from here.
