My CV50s is now an Esquire.

Didnt get on with the neck pickup, too dull for me, so there was really only one thing to do

thinking of having one of these fitted on my Classic Vibe Tele. anyone got any thoughts? the strings go through the body on the Tele so i'm worried it will lose a bit of bite, but i really fancy having a bigsby put on!

Do it! Bigsbys are cool as fuck - You could try one of these http://www.vibramate.com/vibramate-v5te-install.php

Totally reversable if you don't like it + you can put it on yourself

Definatley recommend the Vibramate adapter. They aren't cheap, but really good quality and avoids having to drill into guitar top. But also you don't need to pay a luthier to fit it, as it all bolts in the right places and you can't really go wrong. Mine took about half an hour to fit on the Les Paul.

It's funny after playing the Gretsch for a couple of years, I find it strange not having a bigsby on a guitar now!
