Did you get a similar deal to the ice cream one? i.e. crates of Glenfiddich on your doorstep? :*:

Beautiful music as always though Richard. ..>

And at least you don't have to find space for them in the fridge :D

If you have iTunes create a playlist (the plus sign at the bottom of the screen), drag the songs to that playlist. CD in PC, playlist open, right mouse on the name of the playlist, choose burn to CD.

Thanks Denise. I don't know how I did this, but I did :eh? First of all the tracks didn't appear in my iTunes. But then I fiddled around opening & closing stuff until, as if by magic, they did. I seriously don't know what I'm doing half the time, with this computer.

Three wonderful tracks. I would guess 'The River' was the most musically/technically demanding for Richard to produce in this set.

Actually, I find 'Opening The Bottle' a lovely little song. Short but sweet; it has a light hearted feel to it, well suited to the happy anticipation of taking a nip of pure malt.

In this weeks NME (Paul weller cover) they state that The River is on repeat on the skulls of the NME staff and gave the following review:

Richard Hawley
The River

Many songs have been born of whiskey sessions, few of distillery day trips. But this elongated instrumental (bankrolled by an alcohol company) makes us wish a few more acts would visit booze factories if the results were as stunning as this.

Jamie Fullerton, NME News Editor

:D :D :D :D

Please excuse what I'm sure is probably a daft question to a musician, but how do you go about actually writing & conveying a complex piece of music like The River to the folks who will play it with you?

Thank you!!! :Hoorah I've been trying to download these songs since November and after I put in my country and birthdate, I kept getting an "Internal Server Error" message.
