seeing as mainstream telly these days is aimied at either sports / footy fans or women (Goks fashion fix...one born every minute..gypsy wedding.. soaps etc) it was nice to watch Marchlands last night for a change.
anyone see it? i thought the first episode was pretty good although i think i might have guessed what's gonna happen in next weeks episode.

Yep - we watched it and it was pretty good, and a welcome diversion from the usual garbage. My problem is that I forget I am watching a series and consequently miss all or some of the following episodes.

Saw it to Mr L and agree - something a bit different from the usual crime dramas... looking forward to seeing how it all pans out.. it can't be good though !! :*:

I enjoyed it, but was not giving it my full attention. I will watch again on Thursday.

Watched second episode last night - quite intriguing and enjoyable.

It appears that bloke from Ashes to Ashes has married Moll Flanders.

We've been watching it.. not a lot has happened yet though..... do you think the Grandfather knows more than he's letting on? Spooked me though, the white icey hand wandering into the shot at the end.

I have Marie - and agree, its great!! my 13 yr old daughter is watching it too , it ties in with some stuff she's been doing at school (the Holocaust - although I think she's a bit partial to Christian whatsisname who plays Len) good to get her away from the old rom coms!! haven't seen the second episode yet as i'm watching it on catch up but i'll probably watch it at the weekend - the ending of episode 1 was quite shocking eh?
