Still think the earlier ones should be seen first. They are the better films anyway, but the contrast in CGI is so great to see them the other way round could be disappointing.

(Plus you don't want to expose them to Jar Jar Binks too early.)

I would normally agree, but having spent the last 6 years explaining to a child how 4-6 were made first but set second I think an exception has to be made here.

Alan thanks for asking me my opinion...

I suppose at an early age a child attains the concept of chronology so 1- 6 makes sense - it's just us lot that are about to qualify for a jedi pension that would think it best to start the story half way / go to the end / then go back to the start...

Mmm. My boys says: Who's Padme mum? And I says: Princess Leia's mum. And he says: No she's not, they're the same person. And I says: No, Padme was Princess Leia's mum. And he says: No, she can't be her mum cos she's too young and pretty. If she were her mum she'd be old. So I says: Do you want to watch Scooby Doo instead? And he says yes. Chronological might be the way yet... x

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Surprised that no-one has mentioned Craig and Chewbacca. Is there not some astral twin thing going on there? And Trekies are worse. I used to work with a bloke who dressed up as a Klingon at weekends. Best moment was him explaining to the whole office how he used to stick a sanitary towel on his head to soak up the sweat generated by the rubber mask. You could see all the women shrink away from him in absolute revulsion. x
