I'm impressed by the potential business skills of someone who 'chased away a burglar'. :?

Ah, it returns, with good old Lord Alan Sugar the ex "Business Czar", who in that role gave this immortal answer to a very important question.

Interviewer: How does this country get out of recession?

Alan Sugar: ........oh, shit.

:D

Could have a great time inventing our own profiles for each of them, just going on the photos. So far I've identified a second hand car salesman, stand up comedian, classical musician, big 'ead, psychopath, & Jarvis lookalike :P Mind you, some of their own job descriptions seem equally inventive. I should have applied...'I'm Alan & I'm an ultimate surface conclusions consultant' (I polish stuff) :alien:

My claim to fame, I have a friend who works in the house of Lords, I made him some mince pies and sent them down with my other half who works in London. Alan Sugar called into Mark's office and blagged one of my pies, said it was one of the best he'd ever tasted! I was tempted to ask Mark to ask him if he wanted to give me a loan to start up me own baking business.
Baroness 'through the round window' Floella Benjamin had one of them too :D

A programme I can never think of any sound reasons for liking, but I get absolutely hooked each and every time.

Modern day Thatcherism televised weekly but I just can't manage to turn away. :)

The problem is they choose the biggest tossers who will make good TV, not people who actually deserve a responsible job with a 6 figure salary.

Now come on Kate, the deserving ones would probably be the most boring! We like to see the stuart baggs of the world get their comeuppance. After all, don't we all deserve a nice 100k salary ? i know I bloody do... but i'd be the first to admit that i'd very boring on TV! I'll be sitting here tonight with a glass of wine , waiting to get stuck in...
