well it seems to have struck Sunderland - can't remember us having imported so many new players all at once. Could do with losing a few mind, any takers for Rio Ferdinand?

Connor Wickham seems pricey but am happy we've bought a young lad with a bit of promise to make up for the loss of another young lad with a bit of promise fucking off to Liverpool. Both inflated prices.

Two Brum cast offs, a South Korean and someone being sent out of Coverntry instead of to.

Various rumours we are after Manchester United never weres such as O'Shea, Gibson and some other bugger I can't be arsed with.

Anyone excited by their team's transfer dealings? No time at all and it all starts again.

Wickham will be a good signing if he lives up to his potential, but how many players of that age with the pressure of that kind of fee ever do?

Do you think Gyan will still be around?

Best transfer news for us is not selling Billy Sharp.

Yeah think Gyan will stay this season

Wonder if Ipswich might come back for Sharp now they have some serious cash. It's horrible having a good player you want to keep and watching the transfer window close far too slowly

He's said he wouldn't consider leaving unless it was a Premier team. Turned Southampton down this week after they matched the release clause in his contract, so fingers crossed. I know it's something that's easy for players to say, but can't imagine Ipswich being much more of an attractive proposition than the Saints.

You're just getting greedy now......there'll be no big club cast offs left for us.

Ronaldinho to second rate Jocks, how are things looking at Blackburn LD? :*: What's happened to the millions that were getting spent?

Mocked by a fan of a club whose record attendance is for a Westlife concert.

Goodwillie would probably have had a field day if he was there.

Aye, no legislating for utter madness though. We don't need him we have Jonathan Woodgate - well for two matches at least

Bummer start for Donny, is there hope?

If we had a fully fit squad we'd be fine, we already had something like 12 players on the injury list at the start of the season. Getting a few players back and we're supposedly getting 'The Beast' Jon Parkin on loan which is just what we need i reckon.

Price you pay for stylish football - it's why Witton Albion are no longer in the Conference

Usually i'd agree with the vote of confidence verdict meaning an impending sacking LD, but in this case i think it's genuine. I'd be very surprised if they got rid. I reckon he'll be in the job a lot longer than Stevie will keep his.
